Steen AnderssonSteen is a co-founder of 5th Finger and Vice President of Marketing. After founding 5th Finger in 1999, Steen helped build the business into Australia’s most innovative and awarded mobile marketing company with over a dozen national and global awards for its products and solutions. Steen played a key role in the November 2005 acquisition of 5th Finger by ninemsn, opening up global opportunities with PBL and Microsoft.
Steen founded the Australian Mobile Marketing Association and the associated Mobile Marketing Awards. He set up and led the committee responsible for drafting the Australian industry’s regulatory scheme which the Australian government adopted as the industry standard. For his work in the Mobile Marketing industry, Steen was nominated for Mobile Marketer of the Year in Australia in 2007.
Steen is currently active in the Mobile Marketing Association, North America and serves on several committees.
Steen has advised global clients such as Australia’s #1 TV Network, Channel 9, and more recently Nickelodean and Newline Cinema with their mobile marketing strategy.
Steen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (UNSW).
