As the Vice President of Advertising Sales for NAVTEQ Media Solutions, David Klein is responsible for the day-to-day operations of NAVTEQ’s media sales organization globally. Using his previous experience in traditional and emerging media Klein leads the development of NAVTEQ’s advertising strategy in TV, radio, internet and mobile. He is the architect of NAVTEQ’s location based advertising plan which allows advertisers to target potential customers by location on their navigation devices.
Prior to joining NAVTEQ in 2007, Klein was Division Vice President at Comcast Spotlight where he managed a $325 million ad sales organization of 550 people across the Northwest Region. Before working at Comcast Spotlight, Klein held various senior sales management positions at LOOKSMART and AT&T Media Services.
Klein is on the Board of Directors at the National Brain Tumor Foundation (NBTF) and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
